Mount Ngauruhoe, Tongariro National Park.
The frequent eruptions of this volcano, one of the trio which form the centre of Tongariro National Park, are real sightseeing thrills. Ngauruhoe, which is 7,515 feet high, usually adds a tall plume of smoke to its conical peak.
It is very hot here in New Zealand.
